As the Hanuman Chalisa is sung, temple walls come alive with stop-motion animation, turning Lord Hanuman’s legendary adventures into a playful visual journey.
FINDING THE STORY
The Hanuman Chalisa was broken down into key events and musical beats, then mapped on a wall with sticky-note thumbnails to shape the narrative and storyboard. The final concept follows a Hanuman sculpture coming to life and leaping across temple wall carvings, where his adventures unfold through stop-motion animation inspired by Indian temple architecture.
STORYBOARD & ANIMATIC
PRODUCTION
The animatic was split into nine sequences based on the video’s cuts to maintain continuity. This phased approach made production more manageable and led to a more efficient, tailored workflow.
